The public comment period for the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed St. Lawrence Wind Farm project will remain open until June 15th, 2007.

The St. Lawrence Wind Farm encourages public response to the DEIS.  According to the Town of Cape Vincent Planning Board, the lead agency in the SEQR process, if anyone wishes their comments on the DEIS to be made public, they must submit their comments in an official format – either written to the board chairman or verbally at a public meeting.
Due to the Planning Board’s concern that e-mail will prove to be an unreliable means of collecting comments, only verbal comments at a public hearings and written comments mailed to the address below will be accepted.
Mailing Address:
Town of Cape Vincent Planning Board Chairman
P.O. Box 680
Cape Vincent, NY 13618

The St. Lawrence Wind Farm believes in making public the diversity of points of view concerning the DEIS.
